Well I pulled my front mount off yesterday after locating my boost leak there Sunday. I am simply amazed! The rear plate on the passenger side tank of the FMIC popped outward about 1/2". Splitting about 4" of weld on the bottom outside edge with a 3/8" gap. From the bulge there was also a split in the weld where the rear plate meets the core...about 2.5" long.
This happend with the boost set at 20 psi! WTF!!! That's just unheard of isn't it? Well, either way I'm dropping it off to Eric Vicary tonight. He said he can have it repaired in a day or two with the aluminum TIG. we need someone with a digital camera to get a picture of this though! -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo
