I'm going to have to open the trans in the spring to replace 1-2 and 2-3 sycros so I started thinking....what can I do to make some improvments.
Anybody have any experience with double syncros or replacing first gear with a taller ratio. My buddy ross has the TRE fully built tranny ( taller 1st gear, double synchros throughout, speed design 4 spider center diff [best on the market by the way]steel shift forks...) anyway, he loves it. He says it was well worth the money. He can shift smoothly into any gear at 7500.
