New car Problems, Preparing to take on a new Evolution Options

Got all the bad gas out of the new AWD. It is now running 110 octane. Changed the injectors and that helped smooth it out some.

Some of the problems now....will not rev past 6300 and takes a while to get there. It does not bounce off of a rev limiter it just won't go any higher......there is a loud POP coming from somewhere under the hood, can't tell if it is coming from near the intake or the IC. It you can feel it through the UICP and the sound seems to move.

You have to hold the gas to the floor for it to start. We were thinking maybe bad fuel pump and/or filters???

When it does idle it sounds fine except for a hiccup every now and then that almost sounds like when your A/C kicks on. When you try to drive it you have to floor the gas and it seems to have no power and wants to go nowhere. Possible boost leak?

Things we need.......Timing Belt (looks like swiss cheese), logger, and somebody with a little more knowledge.........Nate, Marcus, Kris

well got the timing set, still didn't want to run for sh!t I was getting worried that something major was wrong. plugs 3&4 didn't make a difference if they were hooked up or not, 1&2 would kill the motor.swapped wires 3&4 and she surged, idle surge from swapping 2 plug wires??? pulled the BISS plug and she was sucking air big time, no BISS to be found but I have one on my A/T. put in the BISS got it adjusted and she is purrring. she revs fast as hell sound good ( as good as stock exhaust can sound) so all I have left it the timing belt, replace the front bumper & lights, fix drivers seat so it slides. and she will be ready to tear up the streets.
