I have a 2g intake manifold that Im going to port the hell out of and put on the awd. Not sure what all I have to do to make it work though, does it just bolt right on or do i have to switch out some things? Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Not necessarily. There are dyno sheets for both the Forrester and Magnus intake manifolds that show definite gains in both hp and torque below 7.5K RPM without sacrificing anything on the low end. It is true though that the higher you can rev the more power you will see from a short runner intake manifold...if you're engine is set up properly for high revs, that is.
