I know that I could look this up but limited on time. I guy stopped by and has a 6 bolt motor and tranny he will sell me very cheap. How hard and what is involved in making a non turbo into a turbo other than the oil and water lines? Again very cheap price so dont really wanna pass this up.

The answer to the original question has now been correctly stated a couple of times so I will address the bitching part of this thread.

DSMCentral is a place to help us all come together as a comunity to help each other build our rides better than we could by ourselves without all these incredibley rich resources provided by all the DSM owners past and present.

That doesn't mean DSMCentral is a shortcut to have questions continually thrown at when the information is readily available. I have a feeling that some may feel the task of locating the exact information they are looking for is a daunting one. A simple solution may be for those that are looking for the information to simply ask for a link or location to the type of information they are looking for. So many of us have been through so much, there will be a lot of experience in knowing where to find things.

With that said 'www.vfaq.com' is almost always thrown into a thread requesting information. And for good reason, it has probably 95% of all the basice performance information any street DSM will need. At the same time I can see how some may still feel they would get slowed down looking through so much good info. So those of us that know could actually just find and copy the correct link to the thread where the question is posted.

I for one HAVE to do it this way. Although I have read almost everything there is out there for my DSM and others applications, my memory is for crap! So when I am done with a project I forget most of the details and just keep a vague general memory of the installation. So the only way to get good, current and correct info is to look it up like a lot of us do or get a link from one of us that has researched it before.

That's simple enough isn't it?

As far as all this bickering, it comes with a comunity a suppose, but I am with goat to a certain extent. If someone continually bitches about things on DSMCentral with no good ideas the moderators feel will help, then I'm not interested in trying to keep them around. That makes sense to everybody doesn't it?

If not, hear is a little clue into my thought process. I despise the fact that this world caters to the squeaky wheel and disregards those with better manners, taste, or are general more hardy. This will not happen on DSMCentral as a normal form of motivation if I can help it.
