I got a autometer pressure gage to hook up. Since the engine failure I no longer trust the stock gage.

Are the threads for the stock gage normal NPT or the metric NPT??

Also, I remember reading somewhere to remote mount the sending unit to make it live longer. Since I window welded the stock mounts and removed the balance shafts, vibration is going to be an issue. Anybody got any recommendation (picts would be good) of where/how they mounted theirs?

Well according to a thread I found on Buschur Forums, the threads are 1/8-28 BSP, not the standard 1/8-27 NPT. mad.gif

So, anybody know somewhere I can get male BSP to NPT fitting locally (Peoria)??

AutoZone sells a AutoMeter kit thats got metric fittings in it, One of the fittings in the kit fits our cars.
