is it wrong that i went honda?, sold the dsm Options

hey guys....i'm sorry but i've...*sniff* ...crossed over. i'm picking up my honda on friday.

it's a 2000 civic Dx with 72k miles , stick shift and well that's about it.

if anyone's got any advice on an upgrade path for it ...i'm all ears...hondas are pretty ne w to me.

the first thing i went for on my last honda was suspension since i'm an autocrosser.. so if i were to get another, that is prly what i would focus on first. the tie bars definitely make a big difference.
are you wanting to turbo it, do an engine swap, or just stick with the sohc

if its gonna be na sohc go intake, header, exhaust, cam, intake manifold

engine swap, well that will cost enough on its own so after doing that you prly wouldnt do any mods for awhile, although i would do some pm on it before putting it in(new water pump, oil pump, timing belt) and perhaps a lightweight flywheel and clutch

if you are gonna turbo the sohc then you just need a crx hf manifold, an adapter plate, a t25 or 14b, side mount ic, and injectors all from a dsm. get something to tune with.. at the very least a wideband and afc, but you might look into uberdata or chrome to tune with(if you have a laptop)

oh yea, if you are gonna stick with the sohc, put a vtec head on it.. or pick up a d16y8 and do the complete swap.. doesnt cost much and will definitely give ya some more power
