CII Belly Up Again Options

It's been a few days. I know most of you don't really care nor go there anymore. But there is SOME value there. A couple of other sites have popped up I've noticed but, dammit, I can't just add another site to a list I don't have time to go through daily now ...

I knew I should have jumped in and found a way to take that site. Oh well... *laughs* There are others more motivated than myself. Now, if we can find those more capable of operating I guess ... *shrugs*

Every time it comes back I'll drop in every once in a while until it becomes a habit - then it pukes in my face again. I wanted to go bitch about the lack of Peoria area auto-x's and some of the decisions car mfr's have made of late - oh well.

Now that I've bitched. Anyone know what the real status is? Is she done?

there is no nfp anymore. i think selling the server is bullshit. it should be given to someone that actually cares about cii and will try to restore it to its former glory.

but who gives a shit what i think.. i've only cared since the very beginning.. i'm the one that offered to buy the site, but was assured that it would be in good hands.. and look whats happened to it

god forbid anybody see me for more than a post whore..

you know what, I HAVE it, so right now its mine so there and netter and curt paid for 95% of it btw


c) the NFP is no more as a state org, doesnt mean it 'doesnt exiast' enough to own it, so technically its up to the board members, me netter jim myschel


d) the local car scene probably benefits more by CII being non-existant

the less forums the better, period.

All of the dumbasses on CII who refused to registere on any other site can now suck it. We have all records so IF we did sell it the money could be doled back out based on percentages. In addition, all of the money for the server in itself was DOUGH NATED. I hope I spelled that so you understand That means you put the money in the trusting and loving hands of the NFP to do with what they please.

Anybody is free to start whatever central illinois forum they want. But CII will not ever be returned to it's former glory thanks to a certain person who owns the domain name. CII and whatever else is his, so would be up to you or anyone else to make your own website, but with CID, DSM C, CSS, and Euroturds I think there's enough.
