So a few months ago my timing belt decided to exit the engine bay due to being soaked by oil. The bolt holding the (unhooked) front balance shaft pulley backed out and let the front balance shaft slide back into the motor, causing pressurized oil to feed right into the timing belt area.
So I figured I'd just swap heads and be good to go. I finally got around to pulling the engine apart this evening. Definately not the case: ![]() One of the exhaust valves broke off and wedged itself upside down between two bent intake valves and pummeled a hole into the piston. Guess I need new pistons at a minimum, might have eaten up the turbine wheel on the 16G also. -------------------- Eric Wort
