Hey whats up, I just moved to Peoria, and all I see is sweet camaros, and mustangs, these things are slow as hell, show me a real car, anyone from around here, know anything good to do? any shops?

Somewhere with a larger import scene?Most of the active members on this site are in the Peoria area. The only shop that I can think of in Peoria is Winner's Circle on Prospect. I have only been in there once but I got the impression that they cater to the V8 crowd. "The Spot", aka the boat docks, in Pekin is a regular hangout. Unfortunately it is the only place that I know of that gets a regular crowd. The Willow Knolls shopping center in Peoria used to get a decent crowd but I have not heard of any action there in the last couple of years.
