I just noticed this morning that my 93 GSX was running about 3/4 hot. Normally, the temp gauge is straight up but when waiting at lights and at the bank drive-thru it went up past 3/4. Once I was able to get it rolling, it came down somewhat but never to the usual 1/2 mark.
The overflow was full. I checked the coolant and all the little balls floated meaning it's good to 228. I've noticed a strange gurgling sound lately too when I shut it off. Any ideas? -------------------- 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX - all options except AT & leather *sold*

The passenger side fan is the main one. It's the one that will run to cool off the motor under normal driving. The one on the driver's side is the A/C fan. It will only run when the A/C is on. If your A/C is removed, you might as well take that fan out, since it won't work without re-wiring it. It's normal for the A/C fan to kick on briefly when the main fan shuts off. Just a quirk of the wiring or something I guess.
