I just noticed this morning that my 93 GSX was running about 3/4 hot. Normally, the temp gauge is straight up but when waiting at lights and at the bank drive-thru it went up past 3/4. Once I was able to get it rolling, it came down somewhat but never to the usual 1/2 mark.

The overflow was full. I checked the coolant and all the little balls floated meaning it's good to 228. I've noticed a strange gurgling sound lately too when I shut it off. Any ideas?

The passenger side fan is the main one. It's the one that will run to cool off the motor under normal driving. The one on the driver's side is the A/C fan. It will only run when the A/C is on. If your A/C is removed, you might as well take that fan out, since it won't work without re-wiring it. It's normal for the A/C fan to kick on briefly when the main fan shuts off. Just a quirk of the wiring or something I guess.
