QUOTE (turbohcar @ Oct 2 2006, 04:16 PM) If it's a loud "woosh" noise you want when you let off the gas, try using a metal recirculation tube and a metal intake tube. The extra gush of air will resonate off the walls of the metal piping, making it more audible. Agreed. After I got my Injen intake pipe, the BOV noises were greatly increased... even when I only had the (leaky) stock 2g BOV. Oh, but do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on some name brand intake pipe like I did. Don't get me wrong, the Injen intake is one pretty little piece, flows more air than the stock snorkel hose, and (as mentioned) sounds better too, but in all honesty its just not worth the money spent. Good economical alternatives can be found at Dejon Powerhouse or (of course) ebay. |
