Alright fellas,
Everyone talks about this event and most PLAN to go. Now it's time to make it official. I don't have exact times and dollars yet, I'm sure it will be the same as years before though. Who all is planning on bringing something to Vicary Day this year? I for one will be hoping for a new personal best in the Talon this year. Hopefully hanging on with some of the faster domestics, and if Im lucky i would like to show a few of them a set of tail lights.

Right there at the 1/8th mile mark I looked up thinking to myself "man he's like 10 cars in front of me!!!". I'll need to see if I can upload the video so everyone can watch as you whoop my pooper!
So, I guess this friendly competition does help pressure you to make better runs... yep, you can thank me later. J/K I was just glad to see someone that I knew since I got there so late (around 1:30). I was quite surprised by their effective tech session they did on my car. The kid gave me a tech card and said, "fill it out and you're good to go". I guess my car looked pretty slow because he wasn't worried about it. They gave me a discount at the gate because I got there late. $20 for 2 good runs wasn't so bad I guess. I'll post my better run later. BTW, those runs were with about 50lbs of luggage in the back of the car. Annie wouldn't let me take anything out of the car because of all the people there. She was afraid someone was going to steal it all and since I hadn't seen anybody I knew, I figured it was best.
