QUOTE (AWD DSM 1 @ Nov 22 2006, 02:41 AM)
I think the only stroker that should go in that talon is a 383....  cool.gif

You might think your joking, but after my stroker died a couple months ago I measured it out. I'm positive that I could get a small block V8 in that engine bay. The bad news is that 3/4 or more of the engine's weight would be hanging in front of the front wheels. Since I like the car to handle as well as go fast...That is a BIG no no.

As far as this guys income, I don't know. I can tell he spent more than one body's worth of arms and legs though. The video represents a new engine and monster turbo almost every time he goes back for more power. On his website it appears that he is getting his engines right from FFWD. Then of corse you've got the Dog Box, which I've heard Darryl say a number of times that they are too expensive for his racing budget.

WOW... but if he pics up sponsers for this coming year and gets to race all year long with the big dogs, it was probably worth it. biggthumpup.gif
