I've heard a rumor that twin scroll Garret GT ball bearing turbos are or will be coming out in the GT35 and GT42 sizes. Does anyone have more info on this or a web link? Sounds very interesting to make a 35R or GT42 spool up quickly... Almost dangerous.

QUOTE (Booztd 3 @ Aug 20 2007, 09:39 AM) The twin scroll housing is available regardless of BB or Journal Bearing CHRA. You can swap the compressor/exhaust housings off of each turbo with the opposing version. FWIW if you arent running a twin scroll manifold you're not going to get nearly as good of benefits seen when using a twin scroll hotside...... Yup ours is a ball bearingg and as Booztd 3 said the housings are interchangable. We do have a manifold that takes advantage of the twin scroll. link -------------------- |
