The problem with my second gear syncro is getting worse. I have to be super careful shifting to second or else it grinds
 and sometimes it does anyway. who wants to devote sometime to help me (that knows what they are doing). I usually pay in beer ar food, sometimes both (better than peanuts!!!!) what all am I looking at, can I just replace the one syncro, all the syncro's or am I looking at a whole rebuild???????? whos up for it. ps. kris, I still need to get that timing looked at (the prob that rised up and slapped me in the ars when I installed the air intake.)  so much to maintain on these dsm's

Yes, but I believe that the ECU automatically retards the timing 5 degrees at idle. Thats why you have to ground the pin near the battery. Unless I'm thinking about it backwards. Its been a while since I've checked the timing on my car. I'm sure someone on here knows for sure.
