I'm hoping somebody can help tell me what this is or could be:
When I am driving and come to a stop or slow down to turn in my driveway, there is this horrible squealing noise...and it's driving me insane. It isn't my brakes, I know that for sure. Somebody told me that it could possibly be the sway bar bushings ( I think that's right), but then I had that looked at and it wasn't the case. Any suggestions? Anyone else had this problem? I'm not too familiar with the breakdown of my car, so I have no clue. you've got a 2003 eclipse right? It should be under warranty. Why not take it to the dealer and get them to troubleshoot and fix it. Anything you try to do yourself could end up with them not honoring the warranty. Most warranties cover consumables (brakes, clutch, etc) for the first year or 12000 miles at least. I'd take it in if I were you.
