will a trani from a 92 laser really work in a '93 GSX, i thought that the lasers only came in FWD

SloPny will hold your transmission at no charge if you plan to have it rebuilt here. A tranny is small a whole car is a different story.
![]() I'll get back to you with a ball park including the stock double synchro second that is already in your 1993 transmission. Just add the price of any other option you want to add from the sites Nate referenced for a ball park. BTW- You may want to check with those suppliers on delivery times on the parts your thinking about getting. Sometimes it's pretty rediculous. UPDATE: The synchros generally run between $150 and $200 and that's usually all that is bad.
