what is the lowest dropped 1G eclipse anyone here has had that is still streetable and racable???

I am purchasing springs for my car and I have had people tell me that I can 2.5" without problems but I have never lowered a car that far before. blink.gif

not that I dont believe the people I have asked, I am just taking a general consensus. cool.gif

You can go pretty darn low if you want to invest enough to correct your altered suspension geometry. Adjustable camber plates mostly. Race-able: you could go pretty much to the ground as the strip or road course will be a nearly perfect surface. Streetable though, you'll want to figure out how much clearance you want to avoid scraping on driveways, speedbumps, and potholes.

From your post it looks like you are just planning on purchasing springs though. You really should consider replacing the shocks as well. Lower your car significantly and keep the stock shocks and they will most likely give out in a hurry.

What's your suspension budget look like? And what are your main goals for it? Looks or performance. Comfort vs. handling, etc.
