 turbo?, how long will this take? |

ok tomorrow im getting gsxracer80's stock 14b off his car as a temporary replacement until i decide, and mainly can afford a 16g or whatever i want. my question is how long will it take to get the turbo off his car, pay him, go back to my house, dig my gst out of the snow and get it in the garage, take old smokey off, and get the new one in? also take into consideration that anything i do to a car ends up taking forever. my freind is gonna help us and he knows what he is doin. also what kinda tools will i need. any advice would be great.

QUOTE what can i start taking off now that will save me some time later? start with some heat shields and stuff, the turbo should come out in one piece with the manifold (acording to the chiltons and haynes books), you might have to remove a cooling fan to get the heat shields off with out chopping them. go to the parts joint and pick up some PB Blaster, you'll need it!!!! -------------------- You CAN sleep in your car, but your CAN NOT race your house!!!
