i would like to know if anyone is running a 20g. i am thinking of doing the evo16g but i am going to build a motor and i don't wanna spend money on a bigger turbo later on in the project. what i am looking for is about 400hp when i'm all done. I know it's not going to take much considering the numbers i've seen from some of the other guys on here but it's a good goal for me. so all i am wanting to know is if the 20g is going to be a better choice insted of the evo. i just don't wanna over work the turbo and have it crap out on me in a year. if the evo can take the abuse then that is fine be i don't wanna have to struggle to squeeze the last bit of power out of it to reach my goal.

thanks tyler

Well, IF you decide on the 20G, you can get if for cheaper than $1100. DSMParts has 'em for under $1000 and Kevin (snapon4) down here in Springpatch, upgraded his 14b to a 20G for around $350. Granted, it's a hybrid, and probably not as efficient as if he had a 7cm turbine housing...but it's FAST. Of course, he opted for 780cc injectors (yes, overkill) and the MAF/MAFT setup, so he doesn't have PRECISE control over fuel, but we logged it and it runs pretty damn well.

Do some more research on the different turbos and supporting mods you'll need. Don't forget about intercooling, too.
