Does anybody know if there is any type of traction bar for FWD eclipses? I've seen pieces made to go under the engine that brace the from from twisting on a Silvia but didn't know if they made anythign like that for 1G Eclipse?

Let me know

I have a gst and have not found any traction bars for it. The best thing i can tell you is to get strong shocks, good tires, an equal length half shaft and if you have some money a limited slip diff. Thats the best you can do from what i know.

When I had my FWD the best thing tht I found for traction was a transfrer case, a driveshaft and a rear end. It did wonders for me. biggthumpup.gif

Possible? yes. worth it? Not in a million years.

Chassis are completely different, the conversion requires a lot of cutting and fabricating of structural members.

from what I've learned once u get that kinda power.

FWD=highway monsters. they weigh less.
AWD=drag strip driveline breakers

guess it depends on what you wanna do with it.
