Keep it! I do ALOT of walking. Probably 2 miles a day or more. My car has been sitting for 3 or 4 weeks now, but its OK cause I love it and walking is good for me. smile.gif

you know you don't want to sell it.
Just stop messing with it for a month or so, buy a cheapass Honda or something and drive it around. Saving up money isn't that hard if you quit driving and working on the DSM all the time. Thats what I did, and thats how I stayed happy. wink.gif

Actually...I know the assistant manager @ Armadillon Audio in Quincy, Ill. And they are looking for a car to build to be a 'store-car'...they may be interested...but I dont think they were interested in starting off w/ something that expensive....

Let me know your bottom dollar, and I'll talk to him and see how serious they are...

my asking price is pretty much the selling price. Ive got much more time and money interested in her. They wouldnt be starting off. hell the power department is damn near topped out.

Umm aren't you running a 16G there still? There's definately some room to grow in the power department there although it's a nice start to upping the power.

Unfortunately I think you're running into the problem that most car enthusiasts run into. It's VERY hard to get back anywhere near what you have in a project car.

One thought that might help a bit. Get a timeslip and then sell it on E-bay with proof of a xx.xx time car.

That or the next step to getting your money out of a modified car is normally to return it to stock, sell the upgrades off separately and then sell the now stock car at a cheaper price. sad.gif

Just my $0.02

what I meant was is I could easily run a bigger turbo with the mods I have.

yeah. I know what ya mean but I'm not selling it for much more than what stock ones go for. and quite a bit less than what I have in it. I kinda picked a middle ground and went.

I thought maybe a timeslip would help also. they go for more around here than on e-bay tho.

I could return it to stock too. but that takes more work. and reverse work at that.

I feel your pain on the reverse work. Just trying to point out a route to maximize your sale is all. Another downside there is that you're pretty much committed to the sale then after you go down that road.

I think we're all hoping you give up on selling it and keep her actually. biggrin.gif
