US 41 Options

Sorry I'm getting this out so late but myself and a good number of other guys from Purdue are heading up to US 41 dragway in Morroco, IN tomorrow (Wed). I wasn't sure if I'd be going until Justin helped me tune my car Saturday. We'll be getting up there around 6.

It'll be $20 to run and $10 to watch. Every other time I've been up there on Wednesday nights I've found I can hot lap until they close.

would definatly go if it was on a friday or saturday, but i have to work at 7 am. and it doesn't help i'm not supposed to leave the state due to probation.

It sucked.

Something was fishy.

I went with a pack of 12 cars, a Z06, C5, 2 SS's, a WS6, a Silvia, SRT-4, etc.

The most noteable ones were the Z06 adn SRT-4, each had put on 75 WHP since the last track time. Both of them could only muster a 1.5 mph increase.

The C5 is putting down 49xhp and 600 torque to the wheels with his 150 shot of nitrous. He was only running his 100 shot and his best timeslip was a 12.6 at 116.

I only picked up .1sec and 1mph after adding TMO stage 3, EVO3 Big16g, 3" GM MAF and a tune, full 3" exhaust, etc.

It just didn't add up, no one ran a time that they felt was justified. Kinda felt like a waste of a night.
