Tornado Victims - Off Topic Options

I'm sure that all of you heard about the Tornados that ripped through Woodford county yesterday afternoon that leveled the Parsons Manufacturing plant. What you may not have heard about is the families in the nearby houses that were also leveled. One such family happens to go to church with my parents. They were actually in the hospital celebrating the birth of their new daughter when the tornado hit. Another family, also from my parents church, was babysitting their other 3 girls and were home when the twister struck. Somehow everyone escaped with only minor injuries. Their home, however was completely destroyed. The tornado took the barn, the cars, even the trees... it looks like a giant bulldozer came and wiped everything away.

If you would like to help this family out, our church will be accepting donations of clothing, toys, household items, as well as monetary gifts to help this family of 6 try to begin re-building their lives. Thanks Dion. At this point the family is doing pretty good. Make sure to call before taking any donations up. Extra stuff that they don't need will probably be taken to local charities...

I heard from my fiance (who is a claims adjuster) that some people came out and large things like tractors were simply missing, I also heard about a car that was mangled so bad that the owner had to show a title to prove what the car was because it looked like the tornado chewed it up and spit it out like a piece of bubble gum... pretty bad storm, my thoughts are with the victims.
