With recient setbacks I'm planning to get out of the DSM game for a while. Believe me this is not something I'm happy about. These cars are eating me alive. I really need to start putting my money somewhere where it can do me some good instead of somewhere that it breaks.

That being said, all of my stuff will be up for sale in about three weeks. I'll throw up a complete list of everything to be parted out at that time.

Thanks,
Nathan

Nate,
I am terribly sorry to hear that you are getting out. I must concur with the others that your knowledge will help others with their DSM's. I hope to hear you with another bad pooper ride soon.

If you're selling the motor, does that mean you are parting out the galant? What car are you going to be driving in then?

How did you do your relocation of the battery? Did you have a tray and all of that, or did you just throw it back in the trunk? If you have the tray and a red top, I would love to pick that up.

Sorry to hear you're getting out. I know how these cars can suck the money right out of you, though. I guess, now you can help Cory build his turbo Ranger wink.gif

I remember when I first got into DSM's, I was just planning on an exhaust, an intake, and a mbc. Ha.

I set it on the stock try and zip tied it to the spare tire. It was stupid but it worked. If your doing the relocation I'll sell you my 80 amp breaker if you want it though. I think you sold it to me if memory serves me right. I also have quite a bit of 2 ga wire around.

I don't know what your thinking Nate, but I was thinking a single 14b at 7psi nonintercooled would suit him pretty well for the way he drives. The only thing I'd like to see would be a 7cm housing on her.

As for you plans, well mine were about the same. I had intended on using a 14b to turbo my car and only to spend $1000 at most. We see where that went. It seems the longer your car sits the bigger your plans get.

Nate (NC Galant),
I actually have an 80A breaker just sitting around. I couldn't remember what was the size breaker you used. Hmm... Didn't know you could go with an 80. I guess it makes sense because the alternator only puts out roughly 65A. I am still interested in the '90 throttle body w/ sensors, too, by the way.

cool, I'll dig it up, and that flange was under my seat. I just must not have seen it around all of my other junk.

BTW, the 80A does pop if I crank it for very long in the winter. That and my galant has a 90A alternator tongue.gif
