I found this place in Belleville Illinois. I would be up for it if we can get ten to fifteen guys to go. It says club price is $1000.00 for the day.

Let's here what everyone has to say about this.

I would be up for a road trip in the near future. Where is the nearest awd dyno?

Ive been to Axis twice and had my car tuned there both times. Ron really knows his shit when it comes to tuning. His dyno is a little bit off but he'll give you corrected numbers which are very accurate. Its a pretty small place though so make sure you bring ya some lawn chairs because there arent of places to sit except the sidewalk outside. But overall I highly recommend it.

His dyno is off? huh.gif Then how and why would you charge full price when you're not even getting accurate feedback.

His dyno isn't "off." The dyno measures certain parameters which spits out a number that you put into a formula that's specific for the dyno. It's a correction factor that accounts for drum drag, mainly, I believe.

I'll agree with Drew: Ron knows a lot about tuning. He's a pretty nice guy, too. How did he do for you, Todd (Super16G)?

The reason I suggested the Dyno Day was because I can't afford $150.00 for him to tune it. And I sure as hell don't know what I am doing when it comes to tuning. So that's why I was trying to get a bunch of guys together. And we could all split the cost. Must have been a bad idea. And I will just have to save my money for now.
