Looks like it'll be hard to see your needles now that they don't have any color on the backing and once you take the needles off it's uber hard to get them back on accurate. Go with a set of overlays that slip on overtop the needles for $35 and save yourself the hassle.

I was going to get some of that el glo stuff. Hell no it's like $100.00 just for enough to do the gauges. I'm still working on it, and yes I know about the needles but I have a fix for that also. I will show you when I'm done.

You should mimic what the speedo has on your tach. Yellow on the midrange and red on the revs past redline would look pretty sweet. Maybe reverse the way the lighting is. have the rainbow effect on the tach and the cool blue all across the speedo. Very cool looking, though.

You get the special edition JBone thumbsup biggthumpup.gif

I have been doing more changes to the faces. I went with a purple Number and I think I'm going with the blue needles. I am still waiting on my yellow faces to come in, but I am excited to see what this will look like in my car.
I am trying to figure out how to run my rpm colors. I was thinking that 0-4000rpm was low, 4000-7000rpm would be medium, and 7000rpm up are the high. If I'm wrong please someone correct me before I do this.

Hey Turbohcar! How ya like my needles now? I can see it can you, tongue.gif ?

Yes, I can see the needles now. IMO, the color combinations are a little off but, it's your car do what you want. You've already got purple on the door cards so why stop there.

My main concern was for accuracy when you putting the needles back on.

I will do any color that anyone wants. they just have to send me the needles and gauge faces.
And it is not that hard to get them accurate. Because all the gauges except turbo gauge have a stop in them on the left. Push the needle on at center, and then gently push to the left until you feel it hit the stop. Then adjust to marks. It would help to take a pic of them pushed to the stop before you take them out. Or use a pencil and make a small mark on the gauge face.

If any of you want to change how your gauges look PM and we can work out a price plan.

And Turbo stop being so negative, Take a chance and live a little biggthumpup.gif . I can do red also. biggthumpup.gif

This is what it looks like in the daylight. I think it looks GREAT!

How many people would be interested in different colored needles and numbers?

Stock led's! And the needles are paint pens from a hobby store.
I just followed this guys directions on how to clean the backs off. http://www.pages.drexel.edu/~lgj24/index_p...ects_gauges.htm
And then I added my own little technique, It's called window paint and a steady hand, LOL!
