Oh it's stock, for now. I'll keep it stock long enough to participate in this event for sure. Then the big hair dryer goes on.

My main fear is if Natedogg still has his EVO or Black_92_TsiAWD, they'll definitely be contenders. Nate is well, Natedoggimus Maximus, god of all that is good in the Tuning world. And Blackboy, well he's just got that factory freak beast and the whole launching thing down.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I'm pretty sure the Evo will be sold by then. I hope to have the Talon up and running with some new toys for the SCDC. biggthumpup.gif

The rules have been kept fairly simple and mean what they say and only what they say. The items specifically called out are the only items that will clarrify the class you fall in. What the rules don't specify are up to interpretation. Walking too close to the line may put you in the higher class on race day though.

The rules have been kept fairly simple and mean what they say and only what they say.

Which means that you must use a stock OEM turbo on the car, not a 16g/20g on a 1g or a 14b/T28 on a 2g to be within the rules. Big advantage to the evo's with the 16g stock. Factor in that the rules don't prohibit meth/water injector and you've got the makings for a very low 11 second evo to take the class. cheater turbos like the white rabbit on the evo could make et's drop even faster for those who want to win no matter what.

My evo would be sitting in street stock and could be a possible contender even without water/meth injection but my gsx would be severely outclassed it it's group.

For the sake of time required to inspect as many cars as we expect for this event, we will not be pulling things apart to verify if a turbo is a 14b or a 16g. If it looks stock it will be considered a stock turbo if the owner chooses that catagory.

As far as the number of runs that will be available for Test & Tune... We won't know for sure until race day. Test & tune will be run through-out the day in between classes and will cost much less than in past events. It can safely be assumed that the number of T&T runs will be reduced this year compared to the all day runs we have been blessed with in the past.

I think the bad a$$ cars and crazy competition will more than make up for fewer T&T runs anyway! biggthumpup.gif

Im sayin....

I'd run the street fab because I have a chance to be competive, but I dont like the idea of a sportsman tree...I am running ET Streets, those are DOT, so they'd work

However

If I didnt feel like i was going to get my baby bottom spanked in the quick 16 I'd run it because I love tree'ing people biggrin.gif I was cutting .08-.09 R/T's at IRP

Yes, July 2nd is the new date. It is posted up on AMS's list of Events on their web site. I am still working on the details and I will disperse the info as soon as I have it all together.

Thanks for the interest! biggthumpup.gif
