Well, the POS ran tonight... for about 5 min.
Finally got it started with a little carb cleaner in the intake. Car wouldn't idle worth a crap. Not sure if it's because of the Blaha, or other reasons. fuel pump is now hardwired (basically) to the battery. If I had any money left, I think a GM Translator and some new injectors would be in the mail... oh well.  Not sure why, but I don't seem to have enough fuel pressure to get the POS to fire without some help. Anybody got a way to check the fuel pressure? I'm getting really burnt out on this project.... 'bout ready to tow the dumb thing over to Josh's and let him mess with it. Wonder if he'd take some body panels and interior pieces for payment...

I think Josh might have an extra fuel pressure guage. He let me borrow it before I bought my own.

heh, I don't think it's lack of desire... More of a lack of time/knowledge/tools/help.
I think I'll be calling josh this morning...

Well.... I gave in. Car will be heading to Slo Pony for final diagnosis and repair. Kind of discouraging to come so far and not be able to finish the project, but I've come to a brick wall with my abilities. Hopefully a simple fix will get me on the street this weekend. I'd like to spend some time behind the wheel for a change!!
