BTW, if you're going to get stainless valves, get the oversized ones. -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"

If you have to do cylinder head work and the valves need replaced I don't feel going to a more robust stainless steel valve is a bad decision, but I would stop there. Unless you are trying to get into the 8s or 9's it is evident that you don't need anymore than the stock head can provide from other experiences. What I'm running into is more headwork everytime I turn around. For the ET's I've turned I would have been much better off just sticking to stock heads and freshening them when needed. Much cheaper.
This is just my opinion, but after spending as much money as I have on performance cylinder heads I ought to know. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

Personaly I'm a big fan of this turbo, it's internaly gated, and it all bolts up!! Bounus, 2g mani and 02 housing=cheap power. This turbo sits right between the FP 3052, and 3065 at a fration of the cost, and you don't have to buy a 44mm waste gate, or special 02 housings. By right between I mean the 3052 flows 52LBS/min and the 3065 flows 65LBS/min. This Precision turbo flows 58LBS/min. From what I've heard good spool around 3300-3500 RPM. Model Number : 6031RS Horsepower Rating (rated by comp. wheel) : 580hp Compressor Cover : T04S 4" Inlet / 2.5" Outlet Lbs / Min : 58 Compressor Side Specifications Wheel Diameter : 59mm Wheel Inducer : 2.320" Wheel Exducer : 3.000" Wheel Trim : 60 Turbine Specifications A/R Ratio : .63 Wheel Style : T31 Wheel Trim : 76 -------------------- Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! AND WASH THAT THING OFF BEFORE YOU COME BACK!!! GROSS
FP 3065, Ported 2G exahust manifold, AEM EMS, 3" 02 housing, Shepard Racing Stage 3 tranny, Fadinza 8 LB. flywheel, Exedy stage 2 tripple puck thick ceramic cluch, 08 from the tank to filter, -6 to rail from filter, Aeromotive FPR 1:1 riseing rate, Crower Stage 4's. All of that and I don't know what I want to do next. |

Unless you get a 6 or 4 puck disk, that ACT 2600 is going to be a little light for that turbo & set-up. Otherwise...nice list off power adders!

Oh I know the 2600 won't last, I dont intend on it lasting too long. I just need it to last a while until I can save up for a Quarter Master Twin Disc. I've got reciepts totaling over 8.5k in just parts I've got sitting, I still have to pick my head up from the machine shop. Shit just keeps adding up. |
