I've read the directions about a million times over and still can't find the answer to my question. It appears that there are two black wires coming out of the CAS. I'm trying to figure out which one to tap into for the CAS signal wire on the Translator. The connector on the CAS looking at it from the front of the car goes [Black, Red, Black, White]. Which one do I tap into?
The directions say to tap into a black wire on the CAS. -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"

the directions are geared more for the 92-94 cas with only one black wire. But you will tap into the smaller of the 2 black wires as indicated here

Yeah, you don't want to tap the wrong one. Picking up a signal if your looking for gound or vica versa would be bad.

For future reference and anyone else wondering, it's the black wire between the white and red wire (i.e. the second one).

Finally got the car up and driving today. Took it for a long drive at about 50 mph in order to get the fuel trims set. The FTHIGH is right at 100% and the FT02 is cycling in between about 98%-130%. I mashed the gas earlier and nothing happened and it was barely seeing 2psi. Come to find out, the couplers that fit so tightly on the GM MAF had come off. I tried to fit the 3inch T-bolt clamps that came with the couplers on it but it was out of their range of adjustment. Oh well, just means I've got to order more parts!
The biggest problem though is the idle. It idles at 3000+ RPM and the BISS screw is all the way in!!! ![]() -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"

There is a place in bloomington west of Walmart on Market, call motion industrys that sell nice t-bolt clamps for a very reasonable price. It's a ways out there but worth the drive

True that Nick. I started working on the procedure you linked to and didn't get it finished as I had to go to work. Tomorrow it will be finished. Thanks for the help though!
