Seems as if adding a 'large' diameter exhaust with a downturn to a car that's been lowered a bit (okay kind of a lot) doesn't contribute much to ground clearance.

I got the driveshaft bolted up and hung the exhaust today. Lowering it back down I've found that I can slide two fingers underneath it but three fingers won't make it. Just shy of two inches. Any guesses how long it'll survive potholes and entrance ramps? huh.gif

Here's a shot of it before I mounted it on the car. That's my arm inside the piping for reference.

Guess I better work on raising those coilovers back up.

Holy crap!! That's huge!! biggthumpup.gif

I'd guess with only 1.5" ground clearance, the first speed bump or pothole you find will either dent the crap out of that purty exhasut, or rip it clean off the car. If you can, I'd definately raise it up.

YOu could raise it up or just drive with your head on straight and not run over any potholes. Doesnt matter if your car is up or down potholes arent good for it. SO go around them. LOL!
