Please Nominate the next most likely DSM for our cover page by Noon on Tuesday. After that we will vote and get our new lucky members car up on the home page for all to see!

Remember, out of towners are eligable too!

I nominate Eric Wort and his tranny that just won't quit. I'd also like to nominate Tempme for his hard work on turbocharging the RS.

QUOTE (natedogg @ Dec 30 2003, 12:22 AM)
I nominate Eric Wort and his tranny that just won't quit.

Figures someone would say something sad.gif, my clutch just started slipping tonight, only when the car is warmed up 100% at WOT in any gear over third.

Thanks for the nomination though smile.gif

Oh, and I nominate Travis, because his car has shiny stuff under the hood AND behind the wheels. Maybe I'll steal his clutch when he's not looking biggrin.gif

Thanks for the nod but shouldn't the COTM be a car that was at least running before it was broken? tongue.gif

BTW, I voted for Eric as the lowest key wrench who doesn't get nearly the recognition he deserves. If he put anywhere near the time and resources into his car as he does into all the others he helps out on it'd be a force to reckon with.

And I have to laugh that that tranny has outlasted your brand new clutch.

OK! As of today Dec. 31, 2003 KOU is the winner for January's COTM. Maybe it's a good idea to accept a partially completed car for this. Just think of how many of KOU's cars we've missed already by waiting this long. cool.gif

Travis send a write-up and a current picture to Mike and we will get this thing posted. A nice little work in progress story should make for good reference in the future!

Oh sh!t! I mean... err.. thanks! Guess I better put some wrench time in on New Year's day in a hurry.

Really though, thanks for the motivation guys. Although I feel a bit like I'm letting everyone down by putting a work in progress up when everyone else has put in so much more successful efforts on running cars.

Time to go snap some pics of those jackstands I guess. wink.gif And I just got a digital camera for Xmas to bust open. WoooHooo!

The mutant will run! Next time I'll see what kind of votes I can get for you, gsxracer80. Are the Deviant boards going to be back up anytime soon?

yeah, hopefully, kidd and I have been discussing the site quite abit and we have plans of having them up again soon. as a matter of fact the problem we had before with server issues are going to be non existant too because we are going to run the servers out of kidds place. cool.gif
