Rear Sway: in-hand.
Spring kit: in-hand. New cat: in-hand. 3"DP: un-f_cking-known Autocross: 4/16-4/17 AFAIK nate has some exhaust parts coming/in-hand. What's the status nate? Where are you Kris? I ain't hittin' autocross 'til the springs and sway are on - cat/dp are secondary to me right now. Let's get something scheduled!!! -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

Don't mean to break up your little EVO owners party, but I have a lot of my tools with me this weekend. I'll be available Saturday afternoon, if you're interested.
That is, if you'll accept help from a lowly 1g DSM owner. -------------------- 2009 Scion Tc

Interest noted and appreciated. If I'm pinched I'd at least like to get the cat and sway on this weekend. Let's see if nate gets UPS lucky as well!

NEXT weekend? NEXT WEEKEND? Speaking of limp appendages...
Next weekend is an autocross in Rantoul. Therefore the need to have sh!t done by then - you know, like doing it THIS weekend and tuning/getting used to it by then? I won't steal nate's thunder but if he gets it in, he's breathin' better than I am until my 3" hits the porch. Oh, and next weekend is also the Peoria Rough Rider's home opener Saturday night... *Shrug* -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

QUOTE (akamiami @ Apr 7 2005, 10:24 PM) okay, I'll be coming down next weekend so if anything is going on then, I'm down. What exhuast are you getting penis? I assume you are talking to me since I am the only walking penis I know of. I went with the TurboXS exhaust. Out of all the sound clips I've heard, nothing sounds better. Not loud, but beefier sounding than the stock exhaust. Its heavier due to thicker guage stainless and a couple hp shy of Buschur's output, but the hp part could have easily gone the other way based on changing conditions. Kazz- I'll be calling machv today to see what the status is on the exhaust. It looks like this weekend will be open for me though til about 5:00 on Saturday and pretty much all day Sunday. You're more than welcome to come over and we'll get your stuff installed. If none of my stuff comes in I'll be out in the garage working on the ole lawn mower anyway. |

I'm trying to find gaskets and bolts in the area so I can at least get the cat on.
Do we wanna go for ths springs? That'd be an all-dayer it seems. Maybe just the sway? JMoushon - you up for this? I've got alot of other crap to take care of around the house, etc. too so I can't put all day into it... Takin' input! -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

If we're doing this stuff this coming weekend, lets figure it out soon. I need to know so I can call in for this saturday at the shop. I'm up for a 8am or so start time so we can get this thing done with a quickness and be all wrapped up before noon easily. make sure to bring doughnuts and coffee, otherwise, I'll admit my effectiveness will be SEVERELY limited. gnarf: I like doughnuts, let's play fatball, partyhat fatness :gnarf
In that amount of time (~4 hrs) I have no doubt we would be able to do the exhuast, springs and sway on your car, lindsey. I guess that is provided we have all the tools and spring compressors, though you should pick up a rental set of spring compressors just to be safe from autozone sometime before the work is done. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food

If you wanna come over at 8, that's fine, but don't expect me to be ready to work on anything beside relieving some morning wood. Waking up at 5:30 am during the week makes Nate appreciate his weekends. 9:30 to 10 works better for me. I do have all the tools needed except the spring compressors.
Besides, since when do you wake up earlier than 11 on the weekends, kamehameha? |

it's easier for me just to stay in the habit of waking up ealier than trying to change my sleep schedule that much.
as long as you don't relieve that lumber on me I'll be okay with it. ' morning wood is a gift from god to women, thus sayeth thine creator.' Tibetians 3:24. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food

yer gettin' damned old, Kris.
I've been told you can get the spring compressors at autozone. If this could all happen in 4 hours, over by lunch, my wood would be well treated at home... after all, that's what it's all about once you rope it in to living with you, isn't it? Talk to me - nate's early and he's gettin' up or elsewhere early? Or throw up another suggestion... -------------------- ... she likes bein' forced ...

I concur. jibberish.
okay, now I get it. he was saying "nate's place early in the morning or somewhere else?" I think we're best off taking nate's generous offer to use his stable. Even if we both get a bit of the AM wink from one-eyed wee willy wetpants. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food
