wish we could've made it, too late of a saturday for both me and gross. How many cars were there? Hope you had a good turnout.
On a side note, maybe we can hit BWW sometime before the end of the month. Gross in town till start of july. -------------------- 1978 Mustang II King Cobra

Good to hear your numbers have improved. If you don't me asking, what was your personal best with the manual trans? BTW - When I left peoria Sunday morning it was like driving in a hurricane. I assume that's why most from our area didn't make it. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

I assume that's why most from our area didn't make it. Thanks for the kind words! Shes my baby lol My best 5-speed time was 11.7, missing 4th once. I made a few passes that night all around that time. That was the first and only time out with my "built" double synchroed, 4-spider diff trans. The 600 mile old clutch went out the next trip to the track. Needless to say I was a little fed up with the car and had to change something in it or I was gonna lose interest in it quick. So I changed over to auto and absolutley love it, on the track and on the street. I updated the link in my sig so it works now if youre curious about my setup. -------------------- 1992 TSi AWD, Auto swapped

A 3 tenth improvment definitely makes the automatic a worthwhile swap! Good job. I wish I would have gotten a chance to see your runs.

What's a built Auto trans cost?
Lord know I've spent enough coin putting manunals together. -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???

What's a built Auto trans cost? Lord know I've spent enough coin putting manunals together. I got the entire swap for $800 yeah i know i stole it lol, including a re-stalled converter. Trans, t-case, rear end, shifter, tcu (im not using a tcu at all now) Building the trans cost me about $1600 and its good to run 9's all day long By far the best money ive spent on the car. I absolutley love it on the street and on the track. Im running a RoadSurge shift box. Push-button shift at full line pressure is fun -------------------- 1992 TSi AWD, Auto swapped
