I'll give it a go! We have to line up (at the track) this year at least.

Yeah I'm don't think the 11's are possible without a serious weight reduction. But you got to have a goal. Of course there's always the possiblilty of a bigger turbo...

Ahh come-on fellas. What about Natedogg, Spy and Kazz? All of you have been in the 12's for a while. The 11's may be too slow for your target this year, but you have to be shooting for something.
Plus there are over 800 other members that may be shooting for a new personal best. Speeak-up people. What are your expectations this coming year? -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

My goal is to get the beast running consistently for the warm months for some top down cruising. Paying insurance on a vehicle for two years to only drive it 1200 miles doesn't seem quite worth it... I guess I still have that no reverse problem to fix too

If it doesn't sell, I'm shooting for 10's. I've got a guy coming to look at it this weekend though...

I don't know if I'd go as far as to call myself a sell out, but I'll definitely miss the car if she does sell. It just feels like the right decision at this point. Its definitely not going to be the last sports car I own by a longshot.

this will actually be the first season that i will be drag racing in. My gsx will be done in the next few weeks and my personal goal is to try and get her in the low 13's. With my setup I should have no problem. I am also aiming towards whooping on my buddies 03 cobra. I know he will be a tough challenge but he only runs 13.4 and he's not awd. The launching should give me a pretty damn good advantage. My friend Cory ran a 14.5 and on the street he would stay dead even until the top end of third gear. we will see!

I will be happy to add you to the list Josh. When you get the heart of your beast into another shell and make more passes we will make the listing bold as a currently running DSM.

BTW - That is an Excelent MPH for that ET. You defenitely had some quicker times in that set-up. I can not read your 60ft. time very well at all, but it may be where you lost a few tenths.
Keep up the good work. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

Looks like a 1.94 60 foot to me. You definitely left at least .2 on the the 60', so that's a 12.5 run
Good luck on the rebirth! -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???

It was a 1.840 60' actually, altho the next couple runs were all in the 1.7 60' range...I launch off a 5000rpm 2-step (studderbox) The problem came with the 1-2 shift, with a slipping clutch and old trans fluid, this became quite a challenge.... Im guessing it could've easily been a 12.5 run, all of which on the original, mitsu clutch! With the Spec clutch in, and my much smoother tune, I think the car would've been a consistent mid 12 car....Hopefully when I get the new project rolling, I can achieve the same feats, hopefully this time with a 4bolt lsd and a proper clutch -Josh -------------------- -Josh

Well made a few passes today, best one:
60' 1.746 330' 5.182 1/8 7.982 MPH 89.12 1000 10.425 1/4 12.476 MPH 109.89 On 18psi, not bad for 70 deg day and first outing of the year! I need to scan the slip, but Darryl did witness it. -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???
