Seems as if adding a 'large' diameter exhaust with a downturn to a car that's been lowered a bit (okay kind of a lot) doesn't contribute much to ground clearance.
I got the driveshaft bolted up and hung the exhaust today. Lowering it back down I've found that I can slide two fingers underneath it but three fingers won't make it. Just shy of two inches. Any guesses how long it'll survive potholes and entrance ramps? ![]() Here's a shot of it before I mounted it on the car. That's my arm inside the piping for reference. http://www.dsmcentral.com/gallery/view_pho...id=big_exhaust1 Guess I better work on raising those coilovers back up. -------------------- |
