I am going to be purchasing a new ACT 2600 soon for my AWD. I was wondering if there are any good/cheap places to get it installed. I would also need my flywheel resurfaced. Would KOU do it? I'm guessing the dealership would try to rape me on the price.
Also if anyone knows where I could get a cheap ACT 2600 let me know. I am looking at fasterthanthem.com, extremepsi.com, or prostreetonline.com. Fasterthanthem sponsors a forum that I'm on, so i'll probobly buy form them, unless I can find a site thats a lot cheaper. Thanks for your help. |

Do it yourself. Its really not that hard. Just time consuming if its your first.

You help me do mine and I'll help you do yours. I've taken a few DSM transmissions out before but only one was taken out without the motor. I'm just waiting until I get all the parts and the weather gets warm enough. I'm a sissy when it comes to being cold. BTW, I've got all the tools you need.

Ask Xian for a quote from KOU.

I'd trust KOU or James to do it before any other shop.

I have one, and if you buy a clutch, one usually comes in the kit. I'm sure I can scrounge one up.
