they do 2WD and AWD pulls using a Dynapack Dyno system.

Used to work there, say Hi to Tuan, Earl, and Bill for me if you stop by, and don't forget to tell Irshad he can still eat the peanuts out of my -ish anytime he wants.

Seriously though, good guys and a good dyno.

You definately don't want to work there, though it's not a bad place to get work done or dyno tuning. Though most of the names I mentioned are indeed good guys, I wasn't joking about the part with Irshad (the owner), to give some indication of my sentiments. I left there after he tried to screw me over big-time (and succeeded to a minor extent), it's a long story I can tell you in person if you're interested to hear it.

Boy, I sure miss the days openly stating on here on how shops fucked people over.

no shit. Heaven forbid people might actually go to X,Y, and Z shops, get fucked over, then find out later on A, B and C forums that a number of other people had the same experience.

I didn't get anything messed up on my car there, it was entirely personal problems that rose solely from my employment. I wouldn't think twice about taking my car there to get work done, even to this day, or question the integrity of the shop as far as billing, tuning, etc goes.

It's not like I'm holding my tongue out of fear of retaliation from the owner or workers, I just don't whine and bitch on the internet as a rule.

My statement wasn't directed at you but the board in general. I think that Spy and myself are somewhat sick of people being edited on a number of local boards for talking the truth about various negative dealings with shops of questionable moral turpitude.

I cannot speak for him, but I certainly did not know that when you moved north it was to work for GRD, and that the relationship with the owner had ultimately caused you to leave.

I have a bit of changed personal policy regarding who I do business with now. If I'm going to deal with someone new in the area I am going to find out as much as I can about them, that's for damn sure. Had I known that someone running a performance shop had a criminal record with a certain county dating back until when I was a freshman in highschool, I certainly wouldn't have recommended ANYONE, EVER, to do business with that shop.

I believe that due to the lack of outright statements for or against anyshops, a lot of people are going to deal with shitty people and shops, which is something that could easily been avoided.

Actually, I just picked the job at GRD up as a fun thing to make a little extra cash. It ended up being more aggravating that it was worth.

As I've stated before. If anyone want's to layout their own cash for a website to air any dirty laundry a shop gets, then by all means knock yourself out.

As a previous and hopefully a future business owner I know how one bad dealing with a vocal customer can totally change the view of an otherwise good company. I'm not implying anything with KOU or whoever. I'm talking about my own personal experiences.

DSMCentral is a forum for getting like owners together for good times and to pass on technical information. We get to pass on dirty laundry in person when we personally get together. I'm not paying for this site to be a public news paper for anyone to post anything they feel. End of story.
