Hey guys my buddy craig sent this to me. I was thinking of going. If anyone else would like to go let me know. I rather go representing central IL as a group than a loner. Let me know and check out the details. I guess the info came from a dsmyahoo group.
Hey guys, I see you all talking about the upcoming meet and I can see there is some confusion, let me elaborate... My friends and I on DSMTALK and EvoM have come together to create large meets. We had a meet on the 10th with a large attendance but a bit unorganized. So, we have created the OFFICIAL meet on the 24th of March, a saturday night. For everyone who thinks this is going to be another 'bust' with small attendance and around 10 cars, think again! There are over 15-20+ evo's who are all coming for sure, and a good amount more who are hearing about the hype and will attend. DSM wise, we have around 15-20 dsmtalk guys, a good amount from dsmtuners, a few more cars from other local forums (midweststreets), the strictly modified crew will most likely be there, the Devo Tuning crew will most likely be there, the Import labs crew might be there (?) and if you guys agree to come, Im estimating 50 cars at the LEAST. There WILL be other cars however, possibly some skittles (srt4) and friends of the dsm/evo guys, but it will not be like a wild ricer parade at streets, that I can ensure... So come out, have a good time, and enjoy the first REAL meet of the year. Unfortunately, after my car accident where the 91awd was totalled, I have not been able to build a new dsm in time but I'll still be there and for sure a new talon will be runnning in time for another meet. (just in case you cared haha) Details: Where: Hooters in Schaumburg Lot When: March 24th -- Saturday @ 9pm Who: DSM/EVO and possibly a few 240/srt4 |

Schaumburg is quite a hike for me... but if the meet is a big as you say it is, it might be worth it. It would make for a nice little road trip.

I am not sure about the details. I have never been. Also I might be last minute on this one. I am also going to HIN the following weekend and I am going to put a for sale sign on the talon. So I might have to put alittle extra cash into getting cleaned up alittle.
