Alright guys, I am still hoping to have the Laser repaired and ready for Cordova. Its gonna take some cash and lots of elbow grease, but I am hoping I can get it all done. I'm also hoping for high 13s

When is the last day for signup? I don't wanna sign up and then not be able to make it.

I think it was stated earlier on this thread that there is really no "last day" for sign up and that sign up isnt "required" but prefered so that the guys at cordova has an idea of how many guys are showing up.

Alright...This momentus occasion is only three Sundays away from today! Who else is going to sign up?

Recently I was questioned as to Cordova's Emergency handling capabilities at our events. Cordova Raceway takes their safety seriously and to help ease any worries out there I have attached a message from Cordova Raceway's manager....


'We have a State Certified Basic Life Support Vehicle fully stocked and staffed at all of our racing events (staffed with 2 EMT's). In addition we have a fire safety truck (new this year) with a tank of compressed F-500 (Fire-Aid). This is an addition to numerous fire extinguishers we have.

The Safety Trucks are both stationed at the finish line area with direct access onto the track. The BLS unit was stationed there last year at your event as well as it will be during this years event. In addition, there are also several of us that are EMT's (including myself).

Our Protocol is (upon an accident):

Respond on site. Call additional support using 911 system (Advanced Life Support and/or Helicopter). We have authorization to put the helicopter in the air as a stand bye or in route. While this is being done we stabilize the patient. We are quite efficient in our system and train on a monthly basis.'

I'll be there driving a 94 Eclipse GS-T. The owner of the car is on this board, but can't drive it due to too much wacking it. We've made some adjustments and will be laying the smack down the 30th. Just look for the red GS-T with the "Tuned by Ranta" and "Honda Power" on the from bumper. Oh, you might notice the massive FMIC too. Hopefully I can keep Kris away from it in the mean time so it doesn't get too "grossified"... LOL... J/K! Kris, we need to you hook up the GM stuff.

Now if I could just find that Naws timing thingy... 9's for sure!

Ummm...well with one fifth less displacement than originally planned, it will not be all I planned or 'cracked' it up to be. I'll just have to live with it for now though.

I just wish I had to "settle" for an extremely clean 1G AWD with a turbo the size of Texas. Marcus, I think you need to give that car to me. I mean, you'll never be totally happy with it, so why even pretend?

I will most likely be there but just as a spectator this year. My car is not running much better than it was last year due to a severe lack of money for the past few months. But it would be nice to see and talk to everyone again even though I will be dying to get out on the track even if my car is slow as hell. Hope to see everyone there.

everyone should take treaded tires tomorrow, cause I don't think slicks work well in the rain

if it rains, I would guess that racing won't happen, correct???

AS you all know now. the SCDS2 has been postponed from last Sunday. I am currently waiting on word back from Cordova management for areschedule date. I will be trying to get a date within a few weeks.

hopefully not june 27, show and shine for kids is that weekend
