Went to install my new timing belt this weekend and noticed that the tensioner pulley arm that the hyd tensioner presses against has some fore/aft movement (about 1/8")
Is this normal?

Sounds like you're missing the washer that goes between the bolt and the tensioner pulley arm.
The washer is there...the arm must be worn. Figures... 
Anybody got a spare they want to get rid off....please!
