Full Version: Autobahn Full Course 4/28/2008 with AMS
Max, you should be welcome in teh pits. there may be a $5 track entry fee, but thats about it.
With the day being a Monday.... I am unable to get the time off of work.... so depending on what time it is, I will not be able to do it... sorry, wish I could make it.
Since we didn't have five ready to register and a few were itching to get signed up before the event got full, I scrapped the group discount plans. In the grand costs of the day (entry, gas, consumables, travel, etc), $20 off is like a drop in the bucket. Wish we could have made it... maybe if more tentatives get off their butt!!!
How are you tentatives coming along on progress? Is april 28th realistic? Time to get busy!!

Three weeks away. If anybody is going, I HIGHLY recommend getting signed up ASAP. I do not think they are full but would be worth checking. I'm sure AMS would like to know soon who all is going (some events close registration or charge late entry fee two weeks from the event).

Going to a 2-day motorcycle track day instead. Have fun guys.

I'm not sure if I'm going to make it. I've been working through all of these gremlins so I haven't had time do the upgrades that I wanted to do like brakes, tires, brake booster etc. We will see.

For any last-minute people out there, you can STILL bring $245 with you to the track Monday by 7:00 AM and drive!!

Due to low attendance, on-track sessions have been increased to 30 minutes and total track time is now TWO HOURS!!! That is a LOT of driving. Like drinking from a firehose.

I'm going to have to pass on spectating...too much going on at work and home to take the day off.

Tuesday June 17th, Autobahn South Course- $200.00
I would get signed up ASAP if serious about going.
Their 3rd and final event this year is Sunday September 14th (south course).
Of course, plenty of HPDE events in-between... not just AMS. I can help you guys find the right one if interested.

the sunday event in September might be my best bet seeing as I work M-F.
I would love to take the Mustang out and see what it can do. it is nice having a car that I know is solid enough to handle the beating.
