A comment/ suggestion:
Please expose all of that FMIC to incoming air. If you don't cut the whole bumper (which I can definitely understand), might I recommend fabbing up a piece of plastic or metal to direct air from the bumper up to the top of the intercooler. That way more of the atmospheric air can cool more of the charged air

I loved my car when I was running that EVO VIII FMIC on it... the only problem that I found was reliability of all those fittings and clamps... I was using high dollar silicone fitings and T bolt clamps, I boost leaked checked my system to over 22 psi in the shop and it lost less than 5 psi over 5 min... but for some reason if I hit over 12 psi of accual boost from the turbo, nothing would hold together.

I'm just curious, why would you try to go through the stock IC pipe location in the fenderwell? You could just short route it and go straight up through the radiator panel and go straight to the throttle body. I'm just thinking by short routing it that will save you quite a bit of lag time, especially with the stock turbo.

I didn't have the right piping to run it like that so I had to do what I had to do... When I do a turbo upgrade (16g) I am going to have custom pipes made.

I'm not a big fan of silicone elbows myself. The pipes and couplings look great though. You are a hard worker man. Keep it up.

Well I finally got to take my baby out for a ride today after almost 3 weeks of
sitting...
At first I wasn't happy with the power I was actually pretty pissed. But I pulled over to find that I blew a ic pipe off... I drove to a friends and put it back on. Then made sure everything was good and then opened her up... And wow... It has so much more low end power... And once it hits 15-16psi it screams... I have yet to get it out where I can really open it up but I am pretty happy with the turn out...
I am pretty sure I have a small boost leak here and there so I am going to do a boost leak test, comp test.
I am going to need custom lower ic pipes because they hit every bump there is... So I don't know when I am going to get it legal I have a lot on my list that will come before I get it legal

well I got to take her for a ride a few days ago and it feels like a whole new car... It's pretty quick... It was running on 16psi but I have turned it down to stock setting (13-14psi) to be on the safe side of things until I get link...

I ran my GSX like that for about a week... sounded bad ass at 7k RPM
and I agree, it did kind of sound like a semi if I shifted early at 2500... the turbo spools fricken loud as hell.
