the other day me and scorp28 were messing with the wife's car and a logger, well sitting still I reved up to 6800 and scorp noticed the I was boosting 13psi on my autometer gauge

Typically a two step rev limiter will be triggered off of the clutch. With the clutch in your rev limit may be 5500rpms. With the clutch out it would be the stock rev limit or in your case perhaps non-existant.
As far as the initial topic of this thread I don't think that a 2 step/stutter box setup would affect the amount of boost being created. -------------------- Fast & Furious on the outside...DSM under the hood!!!
