Ok guys I am getting the 6bolt shortblock back on Friday. I am using my 2g head on this. And I know that a 1g head will flow better but I am using the 2g head. I was wondering if any one has experiened this? Main ? can I use the 2g oil filter housing with my stock oil cooler? Also will my 2g water pump bolt onto the 6bolt front case? I have read conflict stories on that. Any other info would be good. I would like to have first hand experiences not go to this link. Chances are I have already read them.

Exactly... you can also get a thicker head gasket to make up the difference if the head has been milled.
no offence, but I seriously doubt Advanced Automotive center in washington know more about DSM's than most of the coremembers on here.... -------------------- The fastest car I own is a minivan....
