Alright, I've been searching EBAY, etc for good deals on a EPROM ECU.
Have a few questions: Do you have to get a ECU for the same exact car? For example, mine's a 1G AWD 5 spd, will a 1G FWD 5sp work? AUTO ecu's won't work for manual cars, correct? -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???

QUOTE (The Iron Goat @ Oct 17 2006, 06:18 PM) The Federal ECU is the one most widely used in the states. The Cali model will be the more "toned-down" item for emissions reasons. dragging up an old thread for more info ![]() So a Cali model would not be desirable? What parameters would be "toned down"? Would those parameters be able to be tweaked with a tuned replacment eprom? -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???
