Hey guys...
Im running a PalmIII xe (os 3.5) and the mmcd software...I've got a cable with a 3 prong connector hooked up correctly to the 1-10-12 prongs on the diagnostic port... For a while I could log and there were no problems, and then sometime later I just have nothing! I did the SAFC install, and had a few loose connections, but I dono why the logger wouldn't work b/c of it! If I press "Test" as a mmcd function, instead of pulling a code (no CEL) it will come up either as 'Serial Comm error' or 'Ecu comm error'....What is going on? Im using 1.5 software now b/c after I installed 1.8 is when the problem seemed to start, or at least when I first noticed it... Possible Fix: Im strongly considering buying Budmann G's logger cables, which look to be much better quality...I don't know if my problem is the cable tho, altho buying a better cable will at least rule out the possibility...Im looking for any other ideas or advice...My 560cc injectors are waiting to go in, and I need to see if Im knocking with my current safc settings and the fuel pump in...Help me out guys....Thanks a lot for reading -Josh -------------------- -Josh
