What fuel were you running Chris? With the upgraded fuel system were you able to run 93 octane to this level?
Sorry, I wish it was on 93 oct. On race day, 2 gallons of 110 mixed with 93 in tank (basically the fuel light was on)
Stock size lines running a 190 walbro and Lucas 550's

DUDE! I'm still STOKED about that run!
My three runs were on straight 112 octane through stock fuel injectors and lines, burning the 14b up at 24psi running about 4 counts of knock in 4th gear.
You had 4psi lower boost... which is actually near the max with a good fuel system
You had lower octane fuel with similar knock figures
You ran down the 1/4 mile seven one-hundredths quicker than me not counting the 60ft.
and you had 2MPH on my speed
That is definitely a faster car than my set-up and I know you have got a couple more tenths you can take out of that run!
I'm really itching to get my crank back in and lay down some runs before the year is over. Thanks for stoking the fire Chris.

There appear to be some old ones up there though also... some cars that folks no longer own or setups that are rather old that are still bold.
Thanks. I've cleaned it up a bit.
Some of the cars I'm leaving bold even though I know there are changes in progress because the car is still owned by the same member. When that member gets a new personal best or sells the car then those lines will be updated as well.

I just updated the ET list. Not because there is a new local record or personal best, but because I had to change more cars to sold.
I know straight line drag racing isn't everybody's thing. Even so, I'm suprised that with over 850 members we have only 30 people that have ever posted a best quarter mile time. Now 16 of the 30 are either old or sold.
Durring this winter break I hope all those that have tried so hard with nothing more than broken parts to show for it, will be able to rekindle the need-for-speed and get the fire going under their DSM projects. So we can make a good solid list of running DSM's in the 12 to 14 second range next year!

Ahh come-on fellas. What about Natedogg, Spy and Kazz? All of you have been in the 12's for a while. The 11's may be too slow for your target this year, but you have to be shooting for something.
Plus there are over 800 other members that may be shooting for a new personal best. Speeak-up people. What are your expectations this coming year?

I don't know if I'd go as far as to call myself a sell out, but I'll definitely miss the car if she does sell. It just feels like the right decision at this point. Its definitely not going to be the last sports car I own by a longshot.

this will actually be the first season that i will be drag racing in. My gsx will be done in the next few weeks and my personal goal is to try and get her in the low 13's. With my setup I should have no problem. I am also aiming towards whooping on my buddies 03 cobra.

I know he will be a tough challenge but he only runs 13.4 and he's not awd. The launching should give me a pretty damn good advantage. My friend Cory ran a 14.5 and on the street he would stay dead even until the top end of third gear. we will see!

It was a 1.840 60' actually, altho the next couple runs were all in the 1.7 60' range...I launch off a 5000rpm 2-step (studderbox)
The problem came with the 1-2 shift, with a slipping clutch and old trans fluid, this became quite a challenge....
Im guessing it could've easily been a 12.5 run, all of which on the original, mitsu clutch!
With the Spec clutch in, and my much smoother tune, I think the car would've been a consistent mid 12 car....Hopefully when I get the new project rolling, I can achieve the same feats, hopefully this time with a 4bolt lsd and a proper clutch

1/8---8.345
MPH---84.31
1000--10.905

MPH---101.36
This was actually my best time, but i think i actually braked a split second before the 1/4 mile officially ended!
R/T---2.205
60'---2.078
330---5.571
1/8---8.480
MPH---85.17

1/4---13.163
MPH---103.53
R/T---0.488
60'---2.123
330---5.633
1/8---8.578
MPH---83.43
1000--11.149
1/4---13.297
MPH---104.93
I was really hoping for a 12 second pass, but i guess there's always next time. I ran it exactly like i run it on the street (93 octane, spare tire, everything in the car)
I'll scan the slips, i'm going out of town in the morning so it might be a week or so before i do it.

BRAKES?!? You've got brakes that will stop that car on a dime Kapoosh! Make sure you are all the way through the traps before you even think about braking... Hahaha
Seriously, those are good runs. The first one ties you with the other fastest stock turbo EVO 8. Andy's MPH was a lot higher, but you are right there on the ET Kapoosh.
Good job.

List your car in the garage so I can post your time up on the official Times list.
